Curriculum – Quran
Improve your recitation of the Quran, prepare to take Ijaaza in the Quran and receive Ijaaza from teachers with a high sanad.
Hifdh
Memorize at least 2 ajzaa’
Tajweed
Study and memorisation of Tuhfat al-Atfaal and al-Jazariyyah and An-Nooraniyah.
Recitation
The whole Quran is recited upon a teacher with Ijaazah (which is obtained upon successfully passing the exam)

Nursery
Cultivating Islamic values in young learners and setting strong foundations in Arabic and Quran.

Islamic School
Preparing youth to become seekers of knowledge in the Islamic sciences, Quran and Arabic.

Teacher Training
Training and qualifying students to become teachers and developing teachers in the field education and instruction.
Nursery
By the end of the programme, students will be able to:
- Read the Quran (by looking)
- Read Arabic relatively well
- Say the names of Allah mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah from memory, and understand their meanings
- Read simple English words
- Say and recognise the numbers in English and Arabic
- Pray and do the Islamic ablution (wudhu’)
- Tell and apply some of the sunnahs of the Prophet saw.

Overview
Al-Kisai has a nursery for young learners within the institute where children participate in classes which aim to build an islamic foundation for the pupils according to the understanding of the Salaf. The classes focus on Quran, Arabic and Aqeedah (creed) and Fiqh in an easy-to-follow and enjoyable manner using educational activities and games and modern technology. There is a particular focus on developing children emotionally and strengthen their devotion to Islam and develop their thinking skills so they can be of benefit to themeselves and others.
Likewise, the children’s Islamic educationand manners is promoted and complemented by being immersed in an Islamic environment where students pray in congregation daily, and witness Islamic manners from their teachers and supervisors.
Additionally, students study Maths, English and Science and paticipate in educational and leisure activities which promotes their skills from all angles of development.
Islamic School
Preparing youth to become seekers of knowledge in the Islamic sciences, Quran and Arabic.
By the end of the programme, students will be able to:
- Recite the Quran by heart;
- Apply and explain the rules of tajweed;
- Recite by heart the following Mutoon on Tajweed: Tuhfat-al-Atfaal and al-Jazariyyah
- Recite by heart the following Mutoon on Arabic Grammar: al-Ajroomiyyah (nudhm ash-Shinqeeti)
- Explain the fundamental matters of the Islamic Aqeedah (upon the understanding of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah)
- Day the names of Allah by heart and explain some of the meanings.


- Explain matters related to Fiqh rules of Imam ash-Shaafi’i and al-Hanbali (depending on the choice of the class) in summary;
- Recite the matn ‘Qawaa’id al-Fiqhiyyah’ by heart and explain some of its matters;
- Recite the matn ‘Nakhbat al-Fikr fi Mustalah Ahlal-Athar’ by heart and explain some of its matters.
- Narrate a summary of the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ and event from Islamic history;
- Communicate in the Arabic language fluently verbally and in writing;
- Appreciate traditional and contemporary literary texts;
