Teachers
Male and Female scholars of the Qur’an holding ijaazat in the Major and Minor Qira’aat. Teachers are well versed in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
Overview:
- Learn important tajweed theory focussing on the points of articulation (makharij) and qualities of letters (sifaat).
- Have hifdh and recitation corrected by teachers.
- Learn how to correct your own recitation and other students’ recitation.
Purposes of this Dawrah
This mudarasah is a rare and blessed opportunity as we know that sakinah descends upon those that sit together to read and study the Qur’an together. May Allah accept it.
One of the main purposes of this dawrah is to develop teachers of the Qur’an, please ensure you are focussing on the way that sisters are being corrected, whether you notice mistakes and can correct them in your own recitation and others’ recitations too.
There will be a test at the end of the whole dawrah and those that do well will be given a Certificate/Ijaazah in tajweed theory. You must not miss any classes to qualify for this. Registers will be taken.
